Steve Richard Shriver... An Honor

My maternal grandfather, Steve Richard Shriver was born on Wednesday, July 02, 1947. He has been through a lot in the medical services and died on Monday, February 17, 2014 (his ex-wife's - my grandmother's - birthday), at the age of 66. He was a great man. I'm so glad he made it this far in life. I love you, Gramps! You will always be more than half of my book of life. Love you more than anything! Thank you for being a part of my life! Here is a letter to Steve Richard Shriver...

Dear Gramps,
I don't know the whole story. But I want you to know that I love you! You are the big chapter of my life. You have always been in my prayers. Every night I say a silent prayer to you! I want you see that life is a box of chocolates. And death is one of those chocolates. But you need to know I will always be here for you! And I know you will always be there for me!

Love,
Abigail (your granddaughter)
